AN ADDRESS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, PRINCE JAMIU AD10 SAKA AT THE FORMAL LAUNCHING OF THE SIR RASHEED OMOKAYODE ATANDA SHODERU (ROAS) FOUNDATION AND PRESENTATION OF SCHOLARSHIP# AWARDS

My Lord Spiritual and Temporal,

Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, proud parents, and most importantly, talented scholarship recipients,

It is my honour to stand before you as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Rasheed Omokayode Atanda Shoderu (ROAS) Foundation Scholarship Program for Tertiary Institution Students and to once again welcome you: all to this prestigious event, celebrating the achievements of outstanding índividuals who have demonstrated academic excellence, dedication and passion.

Today, we we are gathered to formally launch the ROAS Foundation in honour of Sir (Engr.) Chief R. O. Shoderu KJW on his 85th Birthday and to also recognize the accomplishments of our scholarship students who have demonstrated determination, integrity, and perseverance in winners coming adversity, as well as have critical financial need. We celebrate their hard work, perseverance, and I desire to make apositive impact in their chosen fields. The ROAS Foundation is committed to empowering students and fostering their growth. We believe hat education is the key to unlocking potential and shaping a brighter future.

Let me take a moment tO refresh our memory about the project. At the Settlor's 8oth Birthday Celebration on 24th June, 2019 a sum of =N=9,334,000.00 was realized as donations from attendees during the book-launch and fundraising for the foundation out of which =N= 2,531,558.75 was expended, leaving a net income of =N= 6,802,441.25. For the scholarship awards, Over 100 applications were received from students both within and outside lkorodu Division anc he Board of Trustees was specifically tasked with the onerous responsibility of objectively si listing qualified applicants, making sure that a rigorous selection process and analysis were carried out.

On behalf of the ROAS Board of irustees, I am pleased to announce that, after careful consideration, the process and shortlisting resulted in the nomination of the following recipients for the awards:

To our scholarship recipients, I offer my hearty congratulations. Your achievements are a testament to your ability and we are proud to support your educationa! journey. May this recognition inspire -ful difference in the world.

To the parents, family members and mentors who have supported these exceptional individuals, I extend my gratitude. Your guidance and encouragmet have played a significant role in their success.

Once again, congratulations to our scholarship recipients. May your accomplishments be a source of inspiration to others, and may your future be filled with success, happiness and fulfilment
